_A Remembrancer's Report: The Aeternum Sector - 002.M31_ In a region of space often summarized with the catch-all, _The Dominion of Storms,_ the Aeternum Sector has been compliant for roughly 80 Terran standard years. ![[TheAeternumSectorMap.png]] Prior to 826.M30, massive and all encompassing Warp Storms both trapped the human settlements inside but also protected it from external Xenos threat. In this isolation, human civilization flourished with three notable systems existing independent from one another while communicating, trading, and existing largely in peace. It is thought that at one time, all three solar systems were part of one larger civilization but I cannot provide any more detail on this subject. I obviously wasn't there in my capacity as a Remembrancer. These three systems and their name sake stars – Solarae, Obscuron, and Bellatoris – along with various celestial bodies and dense asteroid fields provide a wide range of cultural (yet compliant) variety to the Sector no doubt impacted by the three separate Crusade Fleets (and their component legions) that discovered them and their lengthy history being both protected and isolated by the storm. I've only been in the Sector for 1 Terran year and I can already feel myself hoping to stay longer. I think, if not for the nature of the Crusade Fleet that I am to soon to be reassigned to (after recently getting notified of my departure from Rouge Trader _REDACTED_ Fleet), I would potentially want to stay here _forever_. Either way, many of my compatriots are being reassigned. I am to join the Blood Angels referred to as the _Knights of Blood_ aboard the _Paladin's Blade_ who are tasked to make their way to Signus and join their Primarch there. They were already delayed in getting to Aeternum to resupply and are worried they will miss the fighting! Separately, I have other peers who are to go to Calth and join the muster to finish the Orks who have taken refuge in the Veridian System, I hope to see them again one day. I hope that _REDACTED_ who had joined the Death Guard a few months back on the way to Istvaan will return to the Aeternum . I hear she has gone to hopefully cross paths with the Warmaster himself but I have doubts that she will make it that far without a personal invitation. She has mentioned a Petronella Vivar as her avenue to meet him, but I'm skeptical. --- MISSING RECORD. INFORMATION DEEMED LOW IN VALUE. --- Anyways. Where was I, ah yes a summary of the Aeternum Sector. More information can be found below. ### The Solarae System The Solarae System is the crown jewel of the Aeternum Sector. It boasts multiple habitable planets rich in resources, making it a strategic stronghold for the entire Sector. The system is enveloped by the Seraphim Asteroid Belt, a dense and treacherous span that poses significant navigational challenges. This natural barrier has been both a blessing and a curse to the System's development, as it offers protection but also limits the avenues for supply in and out of the system. Boasting a significant Imperial Fist bastion and the Serpent's Eye, the system is a defender's dream. The Imperium was fortunate to have been accepted with such open arms. Alongside the Imperial Fists, nearly half the legions have some sort of presence in system. ### The Obscuron System The Obscuron System's Star is technically speaking bright, but for over a millenia it's for the most part been engulfed by an all encompassing inner system asteroid and other particulate belt commonly referred to as the Graveyard. The target of "grave robbers" and the Mechanicum, immense wealth and technological advancement throughout the Sector can find the Graveyard as its point of origin. With three of it's planets best categorized as Forge Worlds with much of the solar system appearing to be a polluted wasteland, the majority of the the Obscuron System's human population lives below ground in large and expansive tunnel and cave structures. ### Bellatoris System Bellatoris, the garden of Aeternum. A series of large, fertile, and even beautiful planets. The literal opposite of Obscuron in its cleanliness but also in its general lack of precious metals or other critical resources to develop societal wealth. When the Sector was controlled by a single empire, I have no doubt that this was the bread basket for the surrounding systems. Post Compliance, it has returned to that role instead of the backwater hunting ground or farmland that supported agrarian societies in the years of the Old Night. A few of it's planets are dotted with a cities with Bellatoris Prime sporting a massive population that is supported by those that surround it. Prime serves as the Imperial System Capital and Trade Hub and also a popular recruitment center for the Legiones Astartes. The majority of the Sector's Militia, Solar Auxilia, and Imperial Army are trained and staged here before reinforcing the various Crusade Fleets that make their way through the Sector. --- With the above, I will close out my summary of the Sector. I look forward to learning more about the planets and cultures here. I have received word that several Crusade and Exploratory Reinforcement Fleets have been ordered to the Bellatoris System, no doubt to resupply, rearm, and make way out the edge of Imperial Space and further bring Compliance to our human brethren still out there in the Darkness. Until next time. Patrick Stella - Remembrancer #Fragments #rr
