_A Remembrancer's Report: The Aeternum Sector - 005.M31_
Greetings lords and ladies of the Imperium. This is Patrick Stella, coming to you from the Bellatoris Prime - Bellatoris System - Aeternum Sector with my monthly journal entry. I hope that one day, a collection of my entries will be preserved, and serve as a guide for those to visit this serene, region of the Imperium.
Today I write to document my experiences and observations of Bellatoris Prime, the Capital Planet of the Bellatoris System. I sit here in my temporarily assigned offices asI have recently made this planet my home while my assigned fleet has "dropped" anchor alongside the orbitals above. I do not know all of the details, but something big is coming. I don't know the destination or target of this year's Muster but a major mobilization of the Aeternum sector and beyond is underway.

## Bellatoris Prime
Originally classified as a Paradise World from ancient records, Bellatoris Prime is what you get when the Imperium has had a few decades to convert virgin wilderness into the what can only be described as an exansive Agri-World dotted by hives, fortifications, and military parade grounds.
Before the Imperium rediscovered the sector, the planet was a hunting ground and "neutral territory" for the various nations that populate the other Bellatoris planets. Conflicts would often get resolved with the leaders of men visiting the planet to either challenge one another to honor duels and hunting competitions. The varied flora and fauna of Prime can certainly be dangerous but not to an extreme that would make the planet inhospitable. Most notably, the "Bellatoris Badger" is of particular interest to the system's culture for it is both nearly impossible to kill due to its steel-like hide paired with a surprisingly high level of intelligence. There are "viral" videos shared in sector which have captured footage of the animals in wild which have gone quite viral. Many Aeternum youths often quoting "Bellatoris Badger don't give a shit" which frankly, I don't understand at all.
Anyways... The Bellatoris Badger is so iconic to the Prime planet that it's most decorated Solar Auxilia Cohort is named after it! Led by the venerable Sandor Grear, the Bellator (or Bellatine) Badgers are an iteration of a Cohort that dates back to the original Old Hundred Regiments that served the Emperor himself.
The planet is beatiful, with tall mountains, varied river systems, and dense forests which have become partially dismantled for its prized lumber but also to make room gigantic Agri-Farms which supply the never ending demands of the Great Crusade.
## Finitum
Near the equator on the planet's primary contient, sits an intersection of fortress, trading center, and hive city called Finitum. This city resides in a massive valley surrounded by mountain ranges that can scratch the very limits of the planet's atmosphere.
Finitum sits in the valley center and is comprised of a large central spire housing millions of souls. During a muster, like the one we are part of today, it's housed population can easily rise north of a half a billion. Interspaced throughout the hive are massive fortress complexes that house various Auxilia Cohorts, Planetary Milita, and Imperial Army Regiments from across the sector. Over half of the Astartes Legions have some sort of permanent presence in Finitum with large contingents made up of the Raven Guard, Ultramarines (naturally given the region's close proximity to Ultramar), Luna Wolves (EDIT: Sons of Horus), and finally the Word Bearers.
> As I understand it, the previously mentioned Sandor Grear has a particularly close relationship and takes regular council from a Chaplain of the Word Bearers Legion and a Captain of the Raven Guard. Their names and demeanor are unknown to me.
Based on the inner-system Remebrancer ledger, I have fellow members of my order residing accross fleets that comprise Salamanders, Blood Angels, and shockingly, Night Lords as well! For so many varied forces of the Emperor in system, the Muster will become quite the event!
## The Stage
Around Finitum, one can see the various landing pads, trade centers, and training grounds for the groups of Imperial Citizens that find purpose on the planet. Outside these immediate "suburbs" of Finitum, the Stage begins. Due to the massive influx of population that The Muster brings to planet, temporary lodging, supply yards, training grounds, and even small cities quickly reshape around the ringed fortifications of Finitum. It is here that Sandor takes the lead as both Planetary Governor and Master of Marches on Bellatoris Prime, ultimately conducting the various forces of the Imperium as if they were members of the Galaxy's most dangerous symphony. Many of the legions have corresponding and semi-permanent facilities assigned here as well.
## The Muster
I share all of this information to make sense of The Muster. Every four years, half of a Solar Year is dedicated to this event. Entire Crusade fleets are supplied and sent off from Bellatoris, and while they may contain parts of fleets that have traversed the entire Imperium, Bellatoris becomes their place of birth.
It is my understanding that the War Master himself has called upon Sandor Grear, Bellatoris, and the Aeternum Sector in it's entirety to supply this year's Muster on Prime and are tasked to raise not just one, but three separate fleets in their entirety!
I spoke to an acquaintance of mine stationed in the Finitum command spire and there is talk of nearly one and half billion souls and over 60,000 Astartes will be on the ground within one Solar Month's time. I cannot wait to look out from a high spire of Finitum and see the Mustering Grounds in all their glory.

For now, my entry comes to an end. But I look forward to next month's entry where I'll provide more details about The Muster, The Stage, and the temporary residents of Bellatoris Prime.
Until next time.
