You can find ingress to the city at tactical location Gamma, Iota, and Mu. *Transmission Terminated* --- This is Remembrancer Patrick Stella. At the time of writing this update, it has been one full day since the first shots of betrayal were fired on Bellatoris. For now, there is a lull. The ships that once mustered above the planet have separated into two combined fleets, keeping the planet between themselves and their opponents. Others have dispersed deeper into the system, or lie shattered, trapped in orbit slowly descending to the surface. This planet will never be the same. While the crash of *Fulgrim's Stiletto* was damaging, the region around Finitum and the greater Stage was largely spared. Other parts of the planet were not so lucky and between the mega waves, earthquakes, and other lingering effects of multiple crash landings, much of the planet will be dead or inhospitable to unprotected humans. The mountain ranges that surround the Stage have provided a barrier, but even then, it is hell out there. ![[CIty Assault.webp]] The past few hours have brought some clarity to the situation that we find ourselves in. There has been word from both the survivors of battle battle and the various communications intercepted since the opening shots that Horus Lupercal and a number of primarchs have risen against the Emperor in an act of rebellion! I simply cannot believe it. Either way, it is clear that a large portion of the Astartes that were once loyal to the Imperium have now betrayed it and their once brothers. Those who remain loyal to the Emperor are going forward to be considered as "Loyalists" and presently lay besieged by the "Traitors". For a short period of time we permitted ingress into the city so that the Loyalists spread across the Stage could find a reprieve. While successful, fierce fighting was seen outside of each entry point. Particularly fierce combat was seen at points marked Gamma, Iota, and Mu. See below for a summary and pict captures from each. [[S1 Session 3 Scores and Results|Technical Notes]] 1. **Location Gamma:** Loyalist Raven Guard and Mechanicum fight Traitorous Sons of Horus and Dark Angels. This results ultimately in a stalemate as both sides disperse from the area with a slight victory to the loyalist forces.* 2. **Location Iota:** As the loyalist Dark Angels of [[The Black Storm]] accompanied by [[Magos Deozz]] and the [[Taghmata Pariah]] move towards the entrance of Finitum, they are ambushed by [[The Umbral Kings]] and The [[Geno 3-7 Chiliad]]. Fighting is brutal with much of both sides laid low. First cutting through a unit of Vorax but then shatters the Paladin of the [[The Black Storm]] and his Assault Squad accompaniment. 3. **Location Mu:** Ultramarine infighting occurs supported by Iron Hands on the loyalist side and surprisingly, the Emperor's Custodian Guard working beside the Traitors. We came to find out later that the Custodians had been working along the [[The Umbral Kings]] prior to their betrayal and believed to have been fighting for the side of the Emperor. The shame.
