*A Remembrancer's Report: The Aeternum Sector - 005.M31*
This is Remembrancer Patrick Stella. I fear this may be among my final transmissions from Bellatoris Prime. The Ruinstorm continues to intensify, and with it, the fabric of reality itself seems to be unraveling across the Stage.
What began as darkness has evolved into something far more terrifying. Reports from throughout Finitum speak of impossible geometries forming in unlit corridors, of shadows that move against the light, of whispers that seem to emanate from the walls themselves. Time flows inconsistently in the darkest regions, with some patrols returning aged beyond their years or not returning at all.
Most alarming are the ritual sites that have been established by Word Bearers forces across the Stage. Intelligence gathered by surviving scout teams indicated these ceremonies were attempting to create stable warp rifts - permanent tears in the veil between realities. Our forces mobilized to disrupt these rituals before they could be completed, but the results were... mixed at best.
[[S1 Session 8 Scores and Results|Technical Notes]]
1. **Northern Ritual Site:** The 91st Blood Angels, known as the Torch Bearers, led by Dominion Rent Lothal, attempted to disrupt the dark rituals of the Iron Warriors. Despite their valiant efforts, the loyal sons of Sanguinius were unable to break through the impenetrable defensive lines of the IV Legion. The Iron Warriors held firm, doing what they do best - they did not break. With their lines secure, the ritual was successfully completed, opening another tear in the fabric of reality across Bellatoris.

2. **Western Approach:** A force of the Sons of Horus encountered unexpected resistance when Space Wolves intercepted them en route to a ritual site. The battle quickly descended into brutal close-quarters combat, with a Space Wolf Warmonger and Sons of Horus Delegatus tearing each other apart in single combat. Most impressive was the stand of a lone Priest of Fenris, who not only held the line against waves of Reavers and a Chieftain in what seemed an endless melee, but ultimately crushed the Sons of Horus forces arrayed against him. Through their sacrifice and fury, the Wolves managed to disrupt the ritual before its completion - a rare victory in these dark times.

3. **Southern Ritual Site:** Perhaps the most devastating engagement occurred when a desperate force of Dark Angels attempted to carry out what may have been their final mission in the Aeternum Sector. They were met by traitorous Iron Hands who protected the ritual site with mechanical efficiency. By battle's end, the loyal sons of the Lion had been shattered and thinned to nearly the last warrior. This force will likely never see another day as a full-fledged fighting force, and with their failure, another ritual reached completion.

With two of the three known rituals successfully completed, the effects have become immediately apparent. The darkness between the beacons has taken on an almost liquid quality, with observers reporting shapes that seem to swim through it like predators in an abyssal ocean. Vox transmissions are increasingly plagued by whispers and screams that no living being has uttered.
Most concerning are the energy readings emanating from deep beneath Finitum itself. Whatever ancient force lies buried under Bellatoris Prime appears to be resonating with these completed rituals, growing stronger with each successful ceremony. Magos Deozz and the remaining tech-priests have sequestered themselves in the central cogitation chambers, poring over fragmentary records that might explain what we face.
I have taken to carrying a small lumen with me at all times, though power reserves grow scarcer by the day. The darkness... it watches us now. It knows us. And soon, I fear, it will come for us all.
If these words reach Terra, know that we remained loyal to the Emperor until the end, even as reality itself turned against us.
